Goals:
This course will teach Vietnamese students from grade 1 to grade 5 who was born in America to pronoun and write Vietnamese alphabet correctly. –          Learners be able to pronoun Vietnamese alphabet correctly.

–          Learners be able to recognize Vietnamese alphabet.

–          Learners be able to distinguish the different between English alphabet and Vietnamese alphabet.

–          Learners be able to write the Vietnamese alphabet correctly by pronoun.

Concepts
This project plan will help Vietnamese children who were born in America can recognize the Vietnamese alphabet. Some similar letters between English and Vietnamese alphabet but they have different pronunciation. Besides, Vietnamese alphabet have different letters from English, and they don’t have letter “f” and “z” in Vietnamese alphabet. Obstacles (Gap)
There are several difficulties to impart the project to children who were born in America because they have already known English as their first language, and Vietnamese as their second language. Also, the pronunciation is quite different with English that make learners hard to pronoun Vietnamese alphabet correctly.

 

Solutions
-Parents practice is a good way for children. Vietnamese is the first language of their parents, that is the best way that parents can help children to practice and memorize Vietnamese alphabet better.

-Mini games with funny can motivate children to practice and gain the knowledge easier.

-Picture and sound help children easily to memorize information
