The national disaster agency reported that On Tuesday 12th September 2017, Philippine was hit by a very fatal cyclone which resulted to flooding and landslides. The cyclone caused heavy rains in Philippine capital and other provinces which resulted to flooding and landslides claiming the life of at least two people and destruction of properties……………….

Cyclone Maring which was a packing wind of up to 60 kilometers per hour made landfall Mauban municipality in the eastern province said the weather bureau. The landslide claimed the life of two brothers in Taytay province 20 kilometers from Manila. Romina Marasigan, a national disaster agency spokeswoman said that unfortunately some of the residence did not heed to the warning by the officials to evacuate the area to safer grounds………………………

Marasigan said during the media briefing that around twenty two passengers were rescued from the bus stuck in floodwaters in Quezon province. Local officials in a number of provinces such as Laguna, Quezon, Rizal, and Batangas advised the residence to evacuate the floodwaters towns.
